Buds Public School affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi follows the CBSE curriculum and its resources -both human and material – which are arranged to prepare the student for the twenty-first century.

It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, and recognized by the Ministry of Education, Dubai, UAE, that adheres to a strict regimen of educational and extra curricular activities that inspire the highest levels of academic excellence among students.

With a teacher-student ratio of 1:20, attention is given to each student. This helps in building an excellent relationship between the educators and the ones being educated.

Designed to develop students’ communicative and linguistic competence. The content selection has been determined by the students’ present as well as future academic and social needs. It aims at developing and integrating the use of language skills and creating an interest in and appreciation of literature to encourage students to formulate and express their own ideas using their experience, knowledge and imagination. It prepares them for real life situations where language is used as a functional tool.

Initiated into the Arabic language with a view articulated since, Arabic is the language of the host country. A knowledge of the language would help to establish a rapport with people around them.

Formulated to train the children to think, reason, analyse and articulate logically. Aimed at helping them to acquire knowledge and understanding of the terms symbols, concepts, principles, process, proofs etc. The children learn to apply mathematical knowledge and skills to solve real-life mathematical problems; to develop mastery of algebraic and geometric skills and the ability to use mathematical tables as aids for computational work. It provides them the scope to participate in mathematical competitions and club activities in and outside the school.

Primarily directed towards the development of problem solving and decision making skills on the basis of the knowledge of key concepts which cut across all disciplines of science. Helps them to appreciate the contributions of scientists and develop science; to develop a concern for a clean environment and preservation of the ecosystem; motivates them to take up higher studies in Science, vocation or professions. Helps to develop scientific temper, attitudes and values such as open-mindedness, intellectual honesty, courage to question etc. besides helping them to acquire an understanding of scientific concepts, principles and laws.

The syllabus is designed to give an insight into the change and development through which human societies have evolved. Children can appreciate the contributions made by various cultures to the total heritage of mankind. It facilitates the study of the history of specific countries and regions. It aims at creating an urge among students for effective participation in community affairs. It helps the pupils to develop an intelligent understanding of the structure and working of the civic and political institutions and the various social, economic and political challenges being faced, which promotes a sense of national as well as international unity.

To develop an understanding of man and environment inter-relationship at a global level. Helps them to develop an understanding and concern about growing world population and its impact on environment. Enriches the students’ skills and abilities to read, understand and analyse geographical information and data presented in various forms such as maps, graphs, diagrams, charts etc. Equips the students with needed abilities and attitudes to study and analyse problems of development having geographical dimensions.

A system of examination is based on the principle of continuous evaluation of the student (is followed)
